How to Read This Chart

Each row shows the same value written three different ways. For example, 1/4, 0.25, and 25% are all the same amount — just expressed differently.

Converting between them:
Fraction → Decimal: divide top by bottom
Decimal → Percent: multiply by 100
Percent → Fraction: put over 100 and simplify

Which Ones to Memorize First

Start with the halves, quarters, and fifths — they come up most often in daily life. The eighths are useful for cooking and measurements. The thirds are essential for splitting things three ways.

💡 Pattern to notice: The fifths are easy — each one is exactly 20% apart (20%, 40%, 60%, 80%). And the quarters are 25% apart (25%, 50%, 75%).
